Introduction training in Simcenter FLOEFD

We hereby invite you to participate in Volupes introduction training in Simcenter FLOEFD. The training is one half day. 

Training agenda

This introductory training for Simcenter FLOEFD will teach you how to create simulations in the software, given a geometry prepared for fluid calculations. The training will provide experience and tips about setting up simulations, and also evaluating the results. This course is perfect for you who recently started with the software, may have less experience with CFD (computational fluid dynamics) and/or want to become a better simulation engineer.

Training overview

Topics that will be coverd in the course are for example: Basic theory of CFD, how to set up the wizard (global settings), meshing (both in theory and though work shops), post-processing data, adding heat transfer (to a cloned project), time-dependent (transient) simulation and also information about modules that can be added to simulate additional physics (such as structural analysis).

The course will start with a live demonstration of how to run a simulation, and then instructions of how to set up the work shop will be provided mixed with theory and tips.

Time schedule: 8.30-12:00 CET
Cost: 350 EUR

Prerequisites: Simcenter FLOEFD installed, engineering background.
