Hans Lindqvist, Forsmark Kraftgrupp ABProcess engineer specialist within thermo hydraulics
Hans works as a process engineer specialist within thermo hydraulics, fluid mechanics and he is also responsible for damage assessment and structural integrity.
Personal introduction: Hans is 57 years old, born in Avesta but now resides in Älvkarleby. He studied mechanical engineering at Linköping University in the end of the 90’s and started his career at Vattenfall’s R&D in Älvkarleby working primarily with experimental research, where he participated in developing new components to Forsmark Kraftgrupp AB and Ringhals AB.
He started working at Forsmark Kraftgrupp AB 2008. In his spare time Hans is a passionate fly fisher and golfer.

Jonas ErikssonFormer boss over Zlatan, Messi and Ronaldo
Jonas Eriksson is the most successful Swedish referee of all time. He was a FIFA international referee between 2002 and 2018 and has experience from international championships as the World Cup, the European Football Championship, and the Champions League. Jonas has combined a carrier in football with a very successful carrier as an entrepreneur. During the autumn of 2021, he is also one of the judges/investors in the Swedish version of “Dragon’s Den” (Draknästet).
In September 2021 his book “Korthuset” (“House of cards”) is released, where he describes his escapades from working in the world of International top football.
As a public speaker, Jonas Eriksson often lectures on the topics of leadership and communication. Based on his experiences as a referee and the encounters with the world’s best football stars, like Messi, Zlatan, and Ronaldo, he tells his story about rapid decisions, the necessity of excellent communication, how to perform under extreme pressure, and the similarities between the working life and the world of sports. You don’t have to be a football fan to appreciate Jonas Eriksson’s stories about leadership, handling conflicts, inspiration, personal development, teams, and communication.

Karin Fröjd, Siemens Digital Industries SoftwareProduct management team lead for Simcenter STAR-CCM+ and related products
Karin is passionate about helping engineers get the most out of their simulations in their product development and innovation. She has a background within combustion simulations and has worked with chemical kinetics at a startup company called LOGE AB, system simulations at Modelon AB and the last seven years she has held different positions within primarily product management for Simcenter STAR-CCM+ at Siemens. Now she leads the team of product managers for Simcenter STAR-CCM+, Simcenter SPH Flow and Simcenter Battery Design Studio. Karin is excited to join this event to get to meet users and better understand your successes and challenges so her team can take more informed decisions about the product strategy and roadmap.

Professor Lennart Löfdahl, ChalmersProfessor Emeritus in Fluid Dynamics at Chalmers University of Technology
Lennart Löfdahl is Professor Emeritus in Fluid Dynamics at Chalmers University of Technology. His areas of expertise include flow stabilities, transition, turbulence and the use of MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) technologies, in particular sensors for flow control.
During the last twenty years Professor Löfdahl has devoted much of his research to the field of Road Vehicle Aerodynamics and Thermal Management. Specializing in the reduction of emissions for a sustainable environment, and in these works, he has used advanced experimental wind tunnel technology as well as CFD methods for optimizations.
Throughout his career Professor Löfdahl has published 300+ international publication, and today is he consulted as technical specialist and advisor. In addition, he has an extensive teaching experience from under- and graduate courses on Thermodynamic, Fluid Mechanics and Road Vehicle Aerodynamics. Over his 40+ year career, he has supervised and examined 200+ Master- and 50+ Ph.D.-theses.

Tim Mak, Vard DesignSenior Engineer Research & Innovation
Tim works in the Research and Innovation department of the Vard Design in Ålesund, whose focus is design of offshore, specialized vessels and expedition cruise ships . He is developing methods to automate resistance predictions with STARCCM+ alongside parametric hull-form modelling tools. More recently he has begun to use of AmeSim to predict overall ship performance and energy consumption, to develop low-emission vessel concepts. He is also involved in collection and analysis of data from vessels in service. Tim studied Naval Architecture at the Australian Maritime College, before starting at Austal Ships in Fremantle, working on the development of large high-speed trimarans and catamarans. Then moved to Trondheim to work for CFD Norway and ComputIT, before moving to his current role at Vard in Ålesund.

Torbjörn Virdung, VOLVO CarsTechnical Expert CFD
Torbjörn works as Technical Expert CFD within the unit called Complete Vehicle Engineering at Volvo Cars. This unit
is responsible for ensuring that the vehicles perform as intended when all parts are assembled into a vehicle.
His main responsibilities are to ensure that CFD simulations are performed when needed, that they are performed
with the needed speed and accuracy, that sufficient hardware is available, and that as little time as possible is spent on
manual labour through automation. The main areas are Aerodynamics, Thermal Efficiency, Contamination and Climate ComfortTorbjörn is 48 years old, and studied Chemical Engineering with Engineering Physics at Chalmers, before pursuing
a Ph. D. in Chemical Engineering, also at Chalmers. In 2005 he started as a consultant at FS Dynamics, stationed
at Volvo Aero in Trollhättan. In 2006 he joined Volvo Cars as a CFD engineer, working mainly with Climate Comfort.
In 2011 he joined ANSYS, where he worked as a CFD Engineer, predominantly towards the automotive industry. In 2016
he joined Volvo Cars again in his current role.
